120 KM Range
The biggest highlight of the Jolta JE 125 is its claimed 120 KM range on a full charge.
This range could make the electric motorcycle suitable for daily city commuting. However, actual range can vary depending on riding speed, rider weight, road conditions, traffic, weather and battery condition.
Swappable Battery
The removable battery is one of the most useful features of the Jolta JE 125.
Instead of taking the entire motorcycle close to a charging point, the battery can be removed and charged separately. This could be especially convenient for people living in apartments or places where there is no electrical socket near the motorcycle parking area.
The term “swappable battery” here refers to the removable battery design. It does not necessarily mean that a large commercial battery-swapping station network is already available for JE 125 owners.
2,000W Electric Motor
The Jolta JE 125 uses a 2,000W electric motor. The claimed top speed is approximately 80–90 km/h, giving it performance closer to what many Pakistani riders expect from a conventional commuter motorcycle.
Charging Time
The JE 125 is listed with a 3–4 hour charging time and a 15A charger.
For daily commuters, this means the bike could potentially be charged during the evening or overnight and be ready for the next day’s journey
Smartphone Control
Jolta has also added a modern smartphone-based control system.
According to information shared during the unveiling, riders can use their smartphone to operate the motorcycle rather than depending only on a conventional key or NFC-style access system
Traditional 125cc Motorcycle Design
Unlike many electric scooters, the Jolta JE 125 uses a traditional motorcycle design.
Its styling is similar to the conventional 100cc and 125cc motorcycles commonly seen on Pakistani roads. This familiar design could make it easier for traditional motorcycle users to consider switching to electric mobility
Braking System
The Jolta JE 125 comes with disc brakes at the front and rear.
This braking setup provides better stopping control and suits the motorcycle’s claimed 80–90 km/h top speed.
