TECNO CAMON Slim 5G Launching in the Philippines on October 1, 2026

The TECNO CAMON Slim 5G is set to officially launch in the Philippines on October 1, 2026, bringing a fresh combination of ultra-slim design, 5G connectivity, a large battery, advanced cameras, and practical AI features. TECNO is taking a different approach with this phone by putting a 6.39mm slim body together with a 6,000mAh battery.

Instead of making the phone slim by cutting down important features, TECNO has focused on keeping the device powerful and useful for everyday users. The CAMON Slim 5G is especially interesting for people who want a lightweight phone without giving up battery capacity, camera features, or a smooth display.

TECNO CAMON Slim 5G Launch Date in the Philippines

TECNO has confirmed that the CAMON Slim 5G will launch in the Philippines on October 1, 2026. The phone is expected to be available through TECNO stores, authorized dealers, and official online shopping channels.

The company has also introduced the TECNO MagBadge, a small companion accessory designed to work with the phone’s camera system. The MagBadge is scheduled to become available separately around the launch period.

Ultra-Slim 6.39mm Design

The biggest attraction of the CAMON Slim 5G is its body. At just 6.39mm thick, the smartphone is designed to feel light and comfortable in the hand.

The phone weighs around 171 grams, making the combination of slimness and portability one of its major selling points.

TECNO uses a design inspired by its “swan-neck curve” approach, giving the phone a stylish appearance while maintaining a flat display.

Available Colors

The CAMON Slim 5G is associated with several artistic color options, including:

• Burgundy Red
• Neo Mondrian
• Matisse Black
• Van Gogh Blue
• Rebel Pink

Some versions use artistic patterns and special finishes to make the phone look different from traditional smartphones.

6,000mAh Battery in a Slim Body

One of the most impressive aspects of the phone is its 6,000mAh battery.

Large batteries are usually associated with thicker smartphones, but TECNO has managed to fit this capacity into the CAMON Slim 5G’s slim body. The phone also supports 45W fast charging, giving users a quicker way to recharge when needed.

For people who spend long hours on social media, video streaming, photography, navigation, or mobile work, the large battery could be one of the phone’s biggest advantages.

6.78-Inch 144Hz AMOLED Display

The CAMON Slim 5G comes with a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display.

The screen offers:

• 1.5K-class resolution
• Up to 144Hz refresh rate
• AMOLED technology
• Eye-care features
• Low-blue-light certification
• Rain Touch functionality

The high refresh rate should make scrolling, animations, supported games, and everyday navigation feel smoother.

TECNO has also designed the display to remain usable in wet conditions. Its Rain Touch technology is intended to improve touch response when the screen is exposed to rain or moisture.

50MP Sony Camera for Photography

Photography is another major focus of the CAMON Slim 5G.

The main camera uses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. It is supported by optical image stabilization, electronic stabilization, and AI-powered photography features.

The camera system is designed to help users capture clearer images in different lighting conditions, including nighttime scenes.

Super-Zoom FlashSnap

One of the interesting camera features is Super-Zoom FlashSnap.

The feature uses AI and fast shutter technology to help capture quick-moving subjects. This could be useful for sports, concerts, pets, children, or other moments where the subject does not stay still for long.

The phone also supports multiple portrait focal lengths, giving users more flexibility when taking portraits.

8MP Ultra-Wide and 32MP Selfie Camera

Alongside the main camera, the phone features an 8MP ultra-wide camera designed for wider scenes and group photographs.

For selfies and video calls, the device includes a 32MP front camera. This gives users a high-resolution option for social media content, portraits, and everyday video communication.

MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G Processor

Under the hood, the CAMON Slim 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset.

The octa-core processor is designed to balance everyday performance and power efficiency while providing 5G connectivity. The phone is available with configurations including 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, with extended RAM technology available on supported configurations.

This setup should be suitable for everyday apps, social media, streaming, photography, multitasking, and many mobile games.

Android 16 and Long-Term Software Support

The CAMON Slim 5G comes with Android 16 and TECNO’s HiOS software.

TECNO has stated that the phone will receive three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

This is important for buyers who want to keep their phone for several years rather than replacing it after a short period.

AI Features for Everyday Tasks

TECNO is also giving the CAMON Slim 5G a strong AI focus.

Some of the highlighted tools include:

AI Snap Poster

This feature can help users create product-style posters by removing an object’s background and placing it into a different visual environment.

It could be particularly useful for small sellers and people who create social media content.

AI Pet Together

Pet owners can combine separate images of themselves and their pets into a single creative picture.

AI LightMaster 2.0

This tool is designed to improve photographs by helping remove unwanted shadows, reflections, and lens flare.

AI Recording Notes

Students and professionals can use AI Recording Notes to turn recorded speech into organized notes.

AI Class Schedule

The phone can recognize class schedules from images or screenshots and organize them into a more useful format.

AI Healthy Eating

Another interesting feature can analyze food images and provide estimated nutritional information and meal suggestions.

Strong Water and Dust Protection

Despite its slim body, TECNO has not ignored durability.

The CAMON Slim 5G carries multiple protection ratings, including IP68, IP69 and IP69K, along with additional protection claims. It also supports underwater photography.

The phone has also passed MIL-STD-810 testing for durability against certain environmental and physical stresses.

This combination makes the device particularly interesting for users who want a stylish phone but also need additional protection during everyday use.

TECNO MagBadge: A Unique Camera Accessory

TECNO is launching the CAMON Slim 5G alongside the MagBadge, a small magnetic accessory with its own display.

The MagBadge features a 1.73-inch OLED display and can connect to the phone wirelessly. One of its most useful functions is displaying a preview from the rear camera while acting as a remote shutter.

This means users can use the stronger rear camera for selfies and group photographs while seeing the framing on the small accessory screen.

It can also be used to display photos and provide additional small tools.

For buyers, it will be worth checking TECNO’s official stores and authorized sellers once sales begin.

Why the CAMON Slim 5G Stands Out

The CAMON Slim 5G is not simply about making a phone thinner. TECNO is trying to combine several premium-style features in a lightweight design.

The 6.39mm body, 6,000mAh battery, 144Hz AMOLED display, 50MP Sony camera, 5G processor, AI tools, and strong water resistance make the phone an interesting option for users who want both style and practicality.
